The story: bringing them home
You wake from a fever in Nag Hammadi to an empty house. Your mother left word somewhere inside, your brother is a conscript, your elder sister a nurse, and your father was driving in Cairo the day the bombs fell.
Ten chapters, from Upper Egypt to the Red Sea and the mountains of Sinai, to bring your family back together.

Questions
What is the game about?
You are a survivor from Nag Hammadi, three weeks after a nuclear war, and your family is scattered across Egypt. You cross Egypt on the map, scavenge, treat your wounds and keep out of the fallout, to bring your family together over ten chapters.
Does it cost anything?
It’s free to download, and there are no ads.
Does it need the internet?
No. The whole game plays offline, and your saved game stays on your phone.
When is it out, and on what?
Soon, on Google Play for Android 7.0 or newer. There is no iPhone version for now.
Portrait or landscape?
Landscape only: turn your phone on its side.
Which languages?
Egyptian Arabic and English, and you can switch at any time from the menu.
Is the map real?
Yes. 156 towns by name, the Nile and the Delta branches, the canals, roads, railways and the governorates as they were in 1985. The towns hit in the strikes are drawn in ruins.
What happens if I die?
In Story mode you go back to the last time you slept or finished part of the story. In Survival mode death is the end, and the saved game is erased.
Is there fighting?
Yes: jackals, hyenas, feral dogs, scorpions, cobras and raiders, and you can shoot, close in or run. Fighting is part of the game, not all of it: there is also travel, scavenging, water, food and medicine.
Does it save by itself?
Yes, it saves itself on your phone.
Is there a daily challenge?
Yes. From the title screen you can play today’s challenge: one world for every player that day, in Survival mode with a single life. It changes at midnight UTC.
How do I share my result?
When you die, tap “Share your story”: the game paints a card with the days you lasted and what ended you, and you can send it to any app from your phone, or save it as a picture.
How was the art made?
The paintings were made with AI image generation, from descriptions written for the game, and the map comes from the open Natural Earth data.
Does it collect data about me?
Only if you agree: usage data and crash reports, without your name or number. The details are in the privacy policy.
