Nile’s End

Privacy policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

Nile’s End is a mobile game you play without an account and without the internet. Your saved game stays on your phone, unless you choose to use Google Play Games, below. This page explains the little data that can leave the game, and when.

The game is made by Mohamed Tanash (LinkedIn), who is responsible for this data. “We” on this page means the game’s developer.

Usage data and crash reports

When you first open the game, you accept the terms of service and this policy, and choose: play with usage data on, or play without it. The whole game works either way. If you choose to have it on, the game sends the following, until you switch it off in the settings:

We don't collect your name, phone number, real location, contacts, photos or advertising ID. The data isn't fully anonymous, though: it is linked to the random installation ID above. The game has no ads, and we don't sell any data.

You can turn this off or on at any time: Menu → Settings → “Usage data”.

Google Play Games (optional)

If your phone is signed in to Google Play Games, the game can sign you in with it, and you can also sign in from the menu. Only then:

This is handled by Google, under Google's privacy policy and the Google Play Games terms. If you do not sign in, none of it is sent, and the game works the same.

Feedback you send

If you report a problem or send an idea from the menu, we receive:

Feedback is sent through Sentry, or by email.

Who sees the data, and for how long

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted, at support@nilesend.com. Uninstalling the game deletes your saved game. Scores, achievements and cloud saves are kept by Google Play Games: you can delete your Play Games data from the settings of the Play Games app.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with its date at the top.
