Terms of service
Last updated: 13 October 2026
Nile’s End is made by Mohamed Tanash (LinkedIn). “We” in these terms means the game’s developer.
1. Agreement
By starting to play when the game first opens, or by playing Nile’s End, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you don’t agree, don’t play the game.
2. The game
- Nile’s End is a work of survival fiction.
- Its people and events are invented, and any resemblance to real ones is a coincidence.
- It shows violence, nuclear war and death.
- Its places are real, but what happens in them isn’t.
3. Using the game
We give you a personal, non-exclusive right to install the game and play it on your devices. You may not do any of the following:
- Sell the game or any part of it.
- Publish modified copies of it.
- Use its art or sound outside the game.
All of this is unless the law, or the licences of the open material in it, allow you.
4. Data
- If you choose to have usage data on, the game sends usage data (without your name) and crash reports, so we can improve it. The details are in the privacy policy.
- You can switch this off or on at any time: Menu → Settings → “Usage data”.
- Your saved game stays on your phone. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data, deletes it, and we can’t restore it.
5. Feedback and ideas
If you send us an idea or feedback, you agree that we may use it in the game, without payment, and without being obliged to.
6. Ownership
- The game, its code and its story are ours.
- The paintings were made with AI image generation, from descriptions written for the game.
- The maps, icons, fonts and sounds come from open or licensed sources, and are listed under “Credits” in the game.
7. No warranty
The game is provided “as is”. We try to keep it free of bugs, but we don’t promise that it is. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss that comes from using it.
8. Changes
We may change the game or these terms. If the terms change, the game will ask you to accept them again.
